PiPets Robotics grew out of a shared interest in robotics by a father and his two children.  Our goal is to create advanced robotic pets that can be enjoyed by kids and adults of all ages.  The name "PiPets" comes from the fact that each pet contains a Raspberry Pi single board computer.  Each Pi Pet can be controlled by voice commands or by using our free mobile app.  The mobile app can be used to download free firmware updates to your Pi Pet, providing the opportunity for the pet's capabilities to grow as time goes on.  Not only is each Pi Pet a fun companion, but it can also provide STEM education through use of a programming language we call "Robot EPIC".  Programs can be dictated by voice or written using the mobile app.

Our flagship product, "Sparky" the robot dog, responds to lots of dog commands such as "come", "speak", "sit", "shake", "lay" and many advanced commands such as "sing jingle bells", "watchdog", "roam the house", and "find the [color] ball".  When he hears the "dance" command, Sparky will listen for music and dance to the rhythm!
